Local Artists
The Trust welcomes local artists who wish to paint Trust sites. There are many wonderful opportunities including Hough Mill, horse gin, Califat coal mine buildings, Swannington Incline, Calcutta pumping rods inspection engine, railway lines, mining wheels and 14 acres of woodland and grass heathland.
We also welcome local artists who would like to help the Trust interpret Swannington’s history. The missing images page provides some suggestions and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss possibilities.
