Cycle Routes

We would like to build up a series of cycle routes to Trust and other local heritage sites from towns such as Ashby de la Zouch, Hinckley, Loughborough, Nottingham and Tamworth, if anyone can help please get in touch.

Alvaston Park, Derby To Hough Mill and return – 31 miles

The Cloud Trail follows the route of the former Midland Railway line between Ashby de la Zouch and Derby.  During the Second World War the line was used for training army engineers to build and repair railways in preparation to the invasion of France.
